For a PDF version of this letter click here.

You have just made a very smart decision to live here at Skyline House. Not only is our condominium lovely to look at, but you will soon find that it is filled with wonderful amenities and services; a responsive staff; and friendly, helpful neighbors.

Our owners’ association has prepared this packet of information to help you settle in and get comfortable not only here in our buildings, but in our immediate neighborhood and surrounding region.

You will find a quick overview of Skyline House’s many useful features in the “Did You Know . . . ?” insert. Find out where the nearest grocery stores, hospitals, dry cleaners, car washes, and other essential services are by glancing at the “Where Do I Find . . . ?” sheet. Then, as time permits, take a look at the various brochures and maps that describe places of interest, including restaurants and entertainment venues in Falls Church, Alexandria, Arlington, and the greater Northern Virginia and Washington area.

Everyone at Skyline House can enjoy life here. Whether you are single, married, young and just starting out, an empty nester, or heading into your golden years, you will find a comfortable home in our condo community.

I encourage you to learn as much as you can about Skyline House life by attending our Board Meeting each month where you can witness how your condo is governed and also raise an issue or ask a question during the open forum period. You will also be warmly welcomed at all committee meetings. Committees include Financial Management; Physical Plant and Operations; Covenants; Security, Safety, and Neighborhood Watch, and Community Relations. As you settle in, we urge you to consider joining a committee or participating in other volunteer efforts, such as Good Neighbors, the Garden Club or Welcome Wagon. If you have special skills or interests, you might want to contribute your expertise by serving as a pertinent committee chair. Perhaps you will want to help lead Skyline House by running for the Board some day. The more involved you become, the more you will enrich your life here.

I, along with our owners’ association and staff, are delighted to have you as our neighbor.
